Privacy Statement

As healthcare providers, Redbird Counseling, follows state and federal laws to protect your confidential information and abides by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”) for current and former clients. Redbird Counseling makes every attempt to ensure that protected health information (“PHI”) that identifies you is kept private. Please note that there are limitations to this which includes but are not limited to disclosures for payments, treatment purposes, state/federal law requirements, lawsuits. At no time will Redbird Counseling sell or use your PHI for marketing purposes.

While contacting Redbird Counseling with any questions or setting up an initial consultation does not make you a client, we will still do everything we can to ensure your confidentiality in accordance with these standards.

For clients, both past and present, Redbird Counseling makes available our full privacy statement at anytime that you might request it.

The Notice takes effect 7/1/2021 and remains in effect until it is replaced or revised. We reserve the right to change our privacy practices and the terms of this Notice at any time, provided such changes are permitted by applicable law.
